I can't believe I haven't written in so long! Things have just been busy, plus we don't have an internet connection at home. That is my excuse. :)
I only have 1 1/2 weeks until my due date! Time is really going by quickly. I can't believe that in 2 weeks max I will have my sweet baby here with me! (the doctor doesn't let you go more than a week past your due date).
We have pretty much everything all ready for him. The nursery is looking so cute! I really am happy with it.
Yesterday my work threw my a surprise baby shower! It was so sweet of them. We ate at johnny Carino's, opened gifts, and had cake. They really spoiled me and Caden with gifts, plus the entire office gave me a $100 gift card to Babies R US! I couldn't wait and went this morning and spent almost all of it on some important things that I still needed.
Garrett and I have really been praying that God would provide for us, as we have more and more expenses coming up. And last week we received some news that could only be a blessing from God- I qualified for medicaid for the pregnancy! This is such a blessing as our health insurance has yet to help us at all with the pregnancy bills, we have such a high deductible for maternity! So, we have been paying out of our pocket, but now we have this assistance to cover it for us! We just praise God for His hand of blessing and providence.
I am looking forward to my 6 weeks off from work to spend with my baby. I know that Caden and I will both really need that time together and I will need that time to heal and try to get used to our new life!
Things are going really good and God is blessing. I could use all the prayers I can get as I have never experienced any of this before! :)
Next time I write I will probably have my baby here with me! Until then...

So if you can only go a week past your due date - I guess I don't win the "guessing game." I think I said the 8th. Waah - haha!
I am SOOOO happy you guys got on Medicaid. PTL.
Yeah! That's awesome that you qualified for medicaid! It is such a blessing! We can't wait to meet the little man!
Sorry, Dionna! :)
I am glad about that, though, your guess would mean I would have to wait way to long to meet my sweet baby boy! :)hehe.
I know, we are so thankful that God blessed us with medicaid!
