Garrett and I just got back to Portland from Boise this weekend. We had such a great time in Boise with our family and friends! We were able to be home for 2 weeks, which was SO nice. We really needed the break. We stayed with Garrett's parents in their guest bedroom- thanks you guys for opening up your home for us! :) We were able to spend Christmas Eve with my dad and family, Christmas morning with Garrett's fam, and Christmas afternoon and evening with my mom and family. It was definitely a busy couple of days, but it was worth it to be able to spend time with everyone. After Christmas I had my first job as a wedding photographer. It was on a Friday evening and was a great wedding to do for my first photo job. The pictures turned out great. Garrett was my assistant and had an additional camera...between the two of us we took 1,000 pictures! Now I am going through them all and editing the ones that need it. Anyways, it was a great opportunity and a lot of fun.
On New Year's Eve Garrett's parents threw a great party and the turn out was great. It was so much fun to welcome in the new year with friends and family and a good ol fashion air hockey tournament! :) The funniest part was when we counted down to the new year and when it was midnight all of the little kids blew their horns for about 10 minutes straight! haha. It was hilarious.
The next day I was able to go out with my lovely girl friends and see P.S. I Love You...what an amazing movie! I absolutely loved it. I was crying and laughing basically the whole time. I can't wait to own that one.
The whole two weeks were so relaxing and fun. We mostly just hung around the house, played games, watched movies, went shopping, and spent time with loved ones. It was a really really great Christmas break.
Now I am just unpacking, cleaning the apartment, stocking up on food, and getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. Wish me luck. :) I miss you all already....

Hey - the pics are great! I love the one of Kayla in the snow and you licking a snowflake. Is that Garrett "biting it" behind Kamica in the snow? HA HA
I see you found the ones that Eliseo and I "snuck" onto your camera! At least you didn't put the one of him picking his nose on here!

I can't believe that I didn't see those pics before! How did you sneak all those on their? Well, it gave me a good laugh when i saw them and i was really close to putting the one on there where he was picking his nose! haha. miss you too!

If you ever think about posting the now infamous nose picking photo, just remember what you left behind at our house. Yeah, better off not posting that one.
