I love, love, love fall! It is absolutely my favorite season. There is a crisp feeling in the air, the
weather is warm and cool at the same time, the beautiful colors, and all the holidays that are coming make fall special. I love getting to wear my cozy sweaters that have been in the closet for the past 6 months. Oh, and getting to go to the corn maze and pumpkin patch, and drinking hot chocolate on a colder night...love it.
I am really getting in the fall mood and am decorating my house accordingly. I don't have a lot of fall decor since I have only lived on my own for just over 2 years, so I am working on slowly getting more and my loving grandma gets me some decorations each year.
I can't wait until it is all put together and I can really feel "in the season" all the time. :) I just got back from Ross and found some great things to put in my entertainment shelf...so excited!
See how happy I am...fall just makes me that way. :) Happy Autumn everyone!

A LOT of things Happening
We have been so busy lately, with family events and work. My mom's birthday was the 16th (happy birthday mom :) ). Her and I went shopping and then we went to my Grandma's house for cake and pizza. I think she had a fun day.
My brother, Matthew, was given quite an honor by becoming an Eagle Scout. Only 4 out of 100 scouts make it to Eagle...so it was quite an accomplishment! There was a ceremony for him and everything. My dad had the chance to be his scout master while he was a scout and so my dad was able to give a speech and it was very emotional. I was given the chance to give the closing prayer of his ceremony and it meant a lot for me to be able to be a part of this event in his life. I am so proud of you Matt! Congratulations!
Then last night I threw a fondue and game night for a few friends. We had a lot of fun...even though my cheese fondue didn't turn out quite right. haha. The chocolate fondue was delicious, though, and then we played Catch Phrase. It was girls against guys and us girls won of course! haha. Then some people left and Jessica, Trent, Garrett, and I decided to rent a movie, so we watched "Made of Honor." It was a really cute movie. It was a really fun night. I have so much to do today to clean up from it, though. The price of having fun I suppose. haha.
I think that things are finally going to settle down a bit and I am really looking forward to that. :)

The Cutest Jewelry
So, after reading on Andrea's blog about these adorable, handmade scrabble pendants I just had to get one! It is a shop on Etsy called Homestudio and they make pendants out of recycled scrabble pieces. I originally went on to buy a couple for my mom for her birthday. Well, I couldn't stop thinking about them and went back the next day to get one for myself! haha. I couldn't help it. They are so unique and stylish.
I gave my mom hers yesterday (2 days early from her actual birthday) because I couldn't wait to give it to her. She loved them so much and is already looking on their site to buy more! haha. Anyways, if you haven't already it is really worth it to check them out!

When I Grow Up I Want to Be...??
I have been trying to figure things out lately...what do I want to do with my life? What do I want to be? It is so hard to decide what I want to do for the rest of my life. The only thing that I am positive that I want to do is be a mother. I can't wait to be a mom...But until that time comes I need to DO something! haha. I envy those who know what they want to "be when they grow up" since they were 6 years old and end up being that!
When I was little I went from wanting to be a model/actress to a lawyer to a writer to a photographer to a women's ministry director to now I don't know...haha. I want to be all these things, why do I have to chose just one??
I am applying to BSU for the spring semester. So, maybe I will figure out what direction to take my life soon. :)

TRIP to COLORADO
Garrett and I went to Kiowa, CO with my dad and fam to visit half of my family that lives there. It is usually at least a year between the times that we get to see them. We stayed with my grandparents and had such a great time. Garrett hadn't even met my uncles, aunts, and cousins over there before. So, I am glad that he was at least able to meet them. Kiowa is an hour east of Denver. We drove into Denver a couple times to go to a Colorado Rockies game, the Denver Aquarium, and to Elitch Gardens(an amusement park). We had such a wonderful time getting away and spending time with family. We were able to be there for a full week, and that was the perfect amount of time. Here are some pictures from the trip...we didn't actually take that many because we were doing so much we didn't carry our camera around everywhere, but this is what we got:

the BIG #2
Garrett and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary a couple weeks ago... August 20th. I can't believe it has been two years already and we have been romantically together for 4 years now. Seems like an ity bity amount of time when you consider we will be with each other the rest of our lives! haha. :)
We had a great day celebrating; we had a picnic lunch at Julia Davis Park, walked through the Rose Garden, and then went on the paddle boats and fed the ducks. We then went downtown to just walk around and enjoy the warm...more like hot...day by getting some Cold Stone icecream. Then for dinner we went to the Melting Pot, a great fondue place. It was so much fun that we ended up staying there for almost two hours! Time flies when you are eating fondue! haha. Anyways, it was so much fun just taking a care-free day to enjoy eachother and to celebrate our love.
Here are some pics from the day:
