A Time of Worship

Tonight there was a worship gathering for the high school group at our church. Garrett, my husband, is a new intern with the high school youth group and so we were able to go. He went early to help set up. Anyways, the band that will be playing at their camp this summer was there and played. They are called Foolish Things....they were really good! I had such a good time tonight. I was able to spend some time with some friends that I hadn't seen in awhile, because they are still in high school. I never knew how I could lose touch with so many people once I graduated high school and got married....it is a totally different world now. :) But anyways, I was so touched while the band played and I just sang my heart out...what a great feeling. The Lord always knows what we need and when we need it...I didn't know how much I needed that time to sing praise to God, but He knew. My heart feels so light right now and so hopeful. Today has just been a really good day. You know one of those days when you are so grateful for. I slept in this morning :), Garrett and me did a few chores and ran a few errands, then we went to the BSU parade, and then the concert tonight. What a fun day! The BSU parade was a lot of fun, mainly because there was a ton of different people all gathered together for one common reason. Everyone was full of excitment and energy. Downtown was a mess and people were all over wearing orange and blue. It was just really nice to see a city that is so supportive of eachother. I love it! I feel very blessed, very very blessed.
